Welcome to the Year 3 NAPLAN Program
The Year 3 program focuses on developing expertise in the skills required in
the NAPLAN exam through intensive preparation.
The Year 3 course is for 10 weeks over 4 terms with the lesson time each week being two hours.
This provides enough time to address all the components assessed in the
NAPLAN literacy exams as well as complete a weekly mock exam.

With NAPLAN playing an increasingly pivotal role in assessing student success, we are dedicated to providing intensive preparation that includes effective strategies and realistic mock tests. All required materials are thoughtfully supplied and are included in the program price.

The year 3 literacy program includes the four components:

Reading: Our program enhances both oral and silent reading skills, with a focus on increasing reading fluency.

Comprehension: We employ targeted strategies, encompassing multiple-choice and short-answer questions, to foster understanding.

Writing: Students develop a thorough understanding and practice in various text types, with a particular emphasis on narrative and persuasive writing, which are crucial for NAPLAN success.
​
Language Conventions: Our program emphasizes spelling strategies, syntax, and grammatical constructs, as these are extensively assessed in NAPLAN.
